Founded with intention, geZellig art | salon is a space where hair artistry, comfort, and thoughtful care come together.

I graduated from cosmetology school in 2010 and spent over seven years immersed in the beauty industry, refining my skills and deepening my understanding of hair as both an art form and a deeply personal expression. After stepping away from the industry for a break, I’m returning with renewed focus, purpose, and clarity.

I offer cutting, coloring, and styling services for both biological and alternative hair. As a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, my work centers on restoration, customization, and empowerment—meeting clients where they are and helping them feel seen, supported, and confident. Whether you’re navigating hair loss, exploring alternative hair options, or simply seeking intentional artistry, every service is approached with care, respect, and creativity.

The name gezellig (pronounced ghuh-ZELL-ick) comes from a Dutch word that has no direct English translation. It describes a feeling of warmth, coziness, belonging, and ease—a sense of being truly comfortable and at home. I chose this word because it reflects the atmosphere I aim to create: a welcoming, calm space where you can exhale, be yourself, and trust that you’re in caring hands.
